Guess Who’s Entered the 4K Projector Market? LG, That’s Who! (Yes, Projectors)
LG Business Solutions USA introduced two new 3840 x 2160 laser projectors designed for the commercial AV market. The LG ProBeam is a 5000-lumen projector aimed at corporate, hospital and education environments and a new ultra-short-throw LG CineBeam is a 4K projector that makes a 120-inch image from just 7.2 inches from the wall. Both are spec’d at 20,000 hours and have 12-point keystone adjustment.
Both offer voice control through an included Magic Remote with an integrated microphone. Wireless connection is included for not only iOS but also Android or Windows devices and they also have USB-A, USB-C and HDMI.
Both the LG ProBeam and LG CineBeam offer wireless screen mirroring, webOS 4.5 for native web browsing, two integrated five-watt speakers and a Bluetooth-out port to boost wireless audio through a separate stereo system.
