FutureVideo V-StationHD Now Has Multicam Project Migration to Premiere Pro
FutureVideo has introduced a new integration for Adobe Premiere Pro that simplifies migrating multicam video projects created on its V-Station HD multi-channel video recording and streaming systems. The integration uses V-Station HD’s Project Media Management (PMM) software, built on advanced SQL database technology, to keep workflows streamlined and organized.
FutureVideo developed an XML file utility that enables a complete project migration to Premiere Pro—offering a more comprehensive solution than basic export/import processes. Once a multicam project is completed on V-Station HD, a one-step process migrates all project media and metadata, including synchronization data, into Premiere Pro. Using Premiere Pro’s import utility, the XML file automatically creates bins for each reel, imports media and metadata, and builds synchronized sequences with original cut points. Editors can easily adjust those points, as all footage is already organized in bins and synced on the timeline, significantly reducing editing time and effort.
V-Station HD systems can be configured with up to eight synchronous recording channels and nine streaming video channels. The platform supports multiple signal types and frame rates with 3G/6G-SDI and HDMI inputs, up to 4K resolution. V-Station HD’s PMM software manages projects and media in real time as they are recorded, and its user interface nomenclature can be customized to suit specific applications. FutureVideo also offers ongoing updates and upgrades for its products.
