Normally I’d just post a ridiculous picture or video and be done with it for FF, but today is Veteran’s Day – and Veteran’s Day deserves a little more than a post-and-go.

First, I say Thank You to all of our women and men veterans who have so selflessly served our country. We shouldn’t just thank you on Veteran’s Day – we should thank you every day.

My own mom served as a 1st Lieutenant Army nurse from 1969-1970 in the Vietnam War. So, I grew up knowing the importance of this day and the importance of recognizing those who have served. She passed away November 15, 2002 due to complications from a disease she had that was attributed to her exposure of Agent Orange while in Vietnam. But this post isn’t about her, it’s about Veteran’s Day – and FRIDAY.

AND, because not all Veteran’s Day things have to be serious, I thought I’d share a short video showing some of our own soldiers having a little fun. Love this so much!
