FriendMedia Digital Signage Media Player With HDMI Pass-Through Ships
FriendMedia announced it’s started shipping its digital signage media player with HDMI pass through. Dubbed the FriendMedia Player Pro, it’s only $199 and then $69 a month for the CMS.
Aimed at the small businesses digital signage market, it can display live sports games, TV shows, movies or any other streaming entertainment while simultaneously displaying “other zones” with menu boards, advertisements, promotions, social media and photos in a digital signage-like application.
The FriendMedia Player Pro outputs 1080p and 720p resolutions via HDMI and includes a pass-through port for the live content via a cableTV or satellite TV box.
