Farmerswife to Showcase its Cirkus Project Management Solution for the First Time at Broadcast Asia

cirkus on screenPalma, Spain & Los Angeles, USA – 25th May 2022: Farmerswife, the leading provider of resource scheduling, project management and team collaboration software for the media industry, has announced that it will be showcasing its new SaaS task and project management solution, Cirkus, and the latest v.6.8 of the Farmerswife tool at the 2022 edition of Broadcast Asia (Singapore Expo, 1-3 June). This is the first time that the solutions are being presented in the APAC region.

Through its participation at Broadcast Asia, the largest broadcast technology show in APAC that brings together influential regional broadcasters, media and entertainment professionals, Farmerswife will show how Cirkus and its latest iteration of the Farmerswife tool can address the specific project needs of media organisations based in the APAC region.

The PRO Resource Scheduling, Management & Collaboration cloud platform Cirkus allows users to plan, assign and manage projects and tasks, track status, report time, coordinate resources and share files in one central hub. It also allows the creation of custom templates, thereby improving efficiency and creating more agile workflows. Cirkus accommodates all devices and is available on macOS, iOS, Android and as a web app.

In addition to Cirkus, Farmerswife v6.8 allows organisations to schedule staff, rooms, equipment, and more, while planning projects and viewing resource availability, in complex environments such as post-production, production, broadcasting, equipment rental, agencies, and education.

With more than 20 years in the market, farmerswife has been used worldwide by companies such as Apple, Disney, Warner Brothers, BBC, ITN, SBS, Spiegel TV, Hogarth, and Nordisk Film to organise and track project resources, plan and control project lifecycles, create customised budgets and analyse financial performance to drive better business decisions.

The new v6.8 adds new capabilities including:

  • Minute increments for bookings in the hourline.
  • More colour coding options for app users and web users.
  • A new Container tab to easily create and manage project containers.
  • Additions to the REST API to integrate with other systems.
  • Support for new integrated workflows using Cirkus for task management and collaboration.

Farmerswife and the Cirkus tool can work together or as standalone products to address the specific needs of media organisations. When used together, farmerswife can provide in-house scheduling, resource management and financial reporting, while Cirkus acts as the collaboration platform to share detailed information with distributed teams both internally and externally.

“Cirkus and farmerswife offer a genuinely end-to-end project management solution, for media companies that want to have visibility into their internal and external workflows,” comments farmerswife CEO, Stephen Elliott. “We are excited to present our solutions in person for the first time in the competitive APAC market. We’ve seen an increased demand for both our established farmerswife system and our Cirkus platform, and more media companies in Asia are incorporating these tools in their day-to-day journey, thanks also to our multilingual worldwide support.”
