Extron has announced availability of the XTP System Configuration Software for XTP Systems. This comprehensive update includes XTP WindoWall, an enhancement that brings video wall capabilities to XTP. The configuration software works with XTP scaling receivers to enable a mix of full screen and image magnification across multiple displays. WindoWall supports multiple canvases and features preset capabilities. This software release also adds video bit depth selection for a variety of XTP transmitters and receivers, ensuring optimal image quality.

XTP Systems provides an integrated switching and distribution solution for multiple digital and analog formats. They support local connectivity as well as extended transmission capability for sending video with resolutions up to and beyond 4K@60Hz (4:4:4), audio, RS‑232/IR and Ethernet up to 330 feet (100 meters) over shielded Catx cable, and up to 10 kilometers (6.21 miles) over fiber optic cable. Each system is HDCP-compliant and delivers digital switching with Extron’s SpeedSwitch Technology.
