Extron announced the availability of the NetPA 204 POE, a Dante-enabled, PoE-powered four-channel audio amplifier that delivers up to 20 watts per channel.
Designed for installation above ceiling tiles near loudspeakers, the amplifier receives audio and power over a single cable and automatically adjusts output based on PoE, PoE+ or PoE++ connections.
The NetPA 204 POE includes integrated DSP for audio signal processing in decentralized systems and supports Dante Domain Manager and AES67 for compatibility with enterprise networks and other audio-over-IP devices.
“The NetPA 204 POE simplifies design and integration by requiring only a single cable for power and network audio,” said Casey Hall, Extron’s chief marketing officer. “The integrated DSP makes the NetPA 204 POE an ideal solution for multi-zone and user-reconfigurable spaces that utilize decentralized control and audio over IP.”
The unit ships in a plenum-rated enclosure and operates without a fan for silent performance. Extron said the amplifier is engineered for long-term reliability, consistent with its other product lines.
