Extron Introduces New DTP CrossPoint 4K Series with Network Isolation for Enhanced Security

Anaheim, California (August 3, 2017) – Extron Electronics is pleased to announce that the industry-leading Extron DTP CrossPoint 4K Series matrix switchers now provide more control flexibility and power. An integrated three-port AV LAN switch enables secure control of the AV devices connected to the local AV LAN, while isolating them from the corporate network. The built-in DHCP server automatically distributes IP addresses and network configuration parameters for these devices, which streamlines system setup and management. “The dedicated AV LAN switch addresses customer concerns by providing network isolation for added security,” says Casey Hall, Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for Extron. “It offers convenient control of multiple AV devices and is secure from outside interference or intrusion.”

The highly versatile DTP CrossPoint 4K Series presentation matrix switchers deliver all of the needed technologically advanced capabilities for a complete AV system solution.
