Extron Gives $25 Million in AV Gear to Universities, Colleges and K-12
Extron announce a milestone in its Education Technology Grant Program, surpassing over $25 million in grants of audiovisual equipment and software provided to educational institutions over the past 15 years. The company says these grants give administrators, instructors and technology professionals the opportunity to use advanced AV technology in their own learning spaces, evaluate the results and see the effectiveness of these teaching tools firsthand. As the grant program expands, it continues to equip selected pilot classrooms with audiovisual solutions, broadening access and enhancing educational experiences throughout North America, according to Extron.

The following grant programs are available:

- ShareLink Pro – Wireless collaboration and presentation
- HyFlex Learning Solutions – Connect students to live or on-demand lesson content
- GlobalViewer Enterprise – Manage, monitor and control AV devices over the network
- CA 163 Column Array Speaker – Achieve speech intelligibility in acoustically challenging rooms
- Esports AV – AV technology the benefits the esports space
According to the company, all Extron equipment, software, training and support are provided free of charge with no required commitment for future purchases.
