Extron has introduced three new seamless switching scalers in the DTP3 IN2004 Series, designed for professional AV environments such as boardrooms, collaboration spaces and lecture halls. Each model features four inputs and Extron’s Vector 4K scaling technology for high-performance video and audio processing.

The new models include:

• DTP3 IN2004 DI/DO — HDMI and DTP3 inputs and outputs
• DTP3 IN2004 DO — HDMI inputs, HDMI and DTP3 outputs
• IN2004 — HDMI inputs and outputs

The DTP3 IN2004 Series offers scalable output resolutions from 640×480 to 4K/60 at 4:4:4 color sampling, with support for HDR, ultra-widescreen, high frame rates and 3D video in scaler bypass mode. The scalers are HDCP 2.3-compliant and include professional features such as logo keying, auto-switching, seamless switching transitions and audio DSP functions like mixing, ducking and filtering.

For integration flexibility, Extron’s Vector 4K engine ensures high-quality upscaling and downscaling, while DTP3 transmission maintains signal integrity across resolutions. The scalers offer fade and cut switching effects and allow users to insert custom images, such as corporate or school logos, into the video output. Selectable FILL and FOLLOW modes provide full-screen output or maintain the original aspect ratio.
