Extron Drops Ships OUT32AT Output Card for Quantum Ultra II Videowall Processors
Extron has introduced the Quantum OUT32AT output card for Quantum Ultra II videowall processors, providing direct connectivity to Dante audio networks. The card delivers up to 32 stereo pairs of digital audio from a videowall system to a Dante network, streamlining audio management and integration.
Each Dante stereo pair can receive audio from a source connected to an Extron Quantum IN4FOX3 or Quantum IN4HDMI 4K PLUS input card. Alternatively, it can follow the active program audio for any of up to 20 available canvases. A single Quantum OUT32AT card can support an entire Quantum Ultra II system, simplifying system design.
Quantum Ultra II videowall processors feature a HyperLane video bus with up to 500 Gbps throughput for real-time performance. The FOX3 and 18 Gbps HDMI connectors on the 4K input and output cards support resolutions up to 4K/60 at 4:4:4 with full HDCP 2.3 compliance. The processor also accommodates 8K/60 sources as a quad-path signal. Embedded audio from any source can be routed to each active canvas or a Dante network.
The system supports up to 20 canvases with mixed resolutions and screen orientations. Additional features include portrait and landscape output support, output overlap, and custom output resolutions to ensure display compatibility. RS-232, USB, and Ethernet interfaces provide direct connections to control systems.
Extron’s Videowall Configuration Software (VCS) and SIS commands facilitate audio mapping, while Dante Controller software enables advanced configuration of the Quantum OUT32AT card. Primary and secondary Dante Ethernet ports provide network redundancy for maximum uptime.
