Extron Adds 2 New Column Array Speakers to Its Lineup
Extron has introduced two new column array speakers, the CA 83T and CA 43T, expanding its CA Series to offer more options for speech reinforcement in reverberant environments.
The new models provide additional size options and feature a modern design with flexible mounting configurations. They can be used as standalone speakers or as supplemental fill speakers alongside Extron’s existing CA 163.
Both models incorporate matched 3-inch drivers, ensuring consistent voicing across the CA Series. They are available in two mounting options: PT models, which include a pan and tilt mount for precise aiming, and LP models, which feature a low-profile mount to minimize wall protrusion.
The CA 43T is a 17-inch speaker equipped with four 3-inch drivers, handling up to 120 watts of continuous program power. The larger CA 83T measures 30 inches and includes eight 3-inch drivers, capable of handling 240 watts. Both models are available in black or white and support low-impedance, 70V, and 100V operation. A power tap selector is located on the bottom for easy access.
With these additions, Extron aims to provide integrators with expanded options for sound reinforcement in commercial and institutional settings.
