Extron and Digital Projection Announce Certification Collaboration and Processor
Extron and Digital Projection announced a strategic collaboration to guarantee consistent, stable presentation of source content when using select Digital Projection professional display solutions with the Quantum Ultra 4K Videowall Processor. Displays that pass an extensive testing program are identified as Quantum Ultra Certified. The first Digital Projection products to earn Quantum Ultra Certification include the Radiance LED line of direct-view LED displays.
“The Quantum Ultra processor’s many capabilities and its configurability, combined with integration of Quantum Ultra Certified Digital Projection Radiance LED display systems, provide bright visuals and rock-solid performance for any videowall application,” said Casey Hall, vice president of worldwide sales and marketing at Extron.
The Quantum Ultra videowall processor offers high-performance features: Output rotation, output overlap, bezel compensation and custom output resolution support. The Quantum Ultra certification program eliminates compatibility concerns. The image processing and display products have been tested together using established parameters such as image acquisition, image stability and EDID management. Specifying a Quantum Ultra Certified display can streamline videowall integration and reduce the need for on-site troubleshooting.
“Many of our partners rely on the power of Extron’s extensive video wall processing capabilities for their display systems,” said Richard Hill, national LED display solutions manager at Digital Projection. “We are excited to have carefully tested and taken the steps to ensure successful deployment and integration compatibility of Quantum Ultra and Radiance LED displays.”
