Europalco’s automation and AV expertise take center stage at Renault Group Convention
Europalco, the largest provider of solutions for events and shows in Southern Europe, showcased its leadership in automation and audiovisual innovation at the Renault Group Convention, held at the MH Atlantic Hotel in Peniche, Portugal. Partnering with agency Prestígio for Brands, the event brought together 300 participants for a press presentation and an internal meeting under the theme “Shaping the Future Together.”
A key highlight of Europalco’s production was its advanced automation technology. The stage featured LEDWall panels with precise horizontal movement, creating a dynamic reveal effect that seamlessly introduced speakers and Renault’s latest car models. This synchronized motion, coupled with immersive lighting effects, added an extra dimension of engagement, ensuring a striking visual impact at every presentation.
Europalco also designed an elaborate multi-screen display setup. The main mobile LEDWall screens, each measuring 6m by 4m with a P3.9 pixel pitch, were complemented by secondary screens, delivering crisp visuals and enhanced content synchronization. The entire video processing and show control were managed through the Analogway Pulse 2 system, guaranteeing seamless transitions and real-time content management.
Lighting automation played a crucial role in shaping the event’s atmosphere. The integration of Ayrton Zonda 3 FX robotic lights, mounted on horizontal movement rails, allowed for dynamic and synchronized lighting effects that adapted to each segment of the program. This intelligent lighting approach enhanced the overall experience, reinforcing Europalco’s commitment to technical excellence.
To complete the high-tech setup, Europalco engineered a refined stage environment with custom carpentry flooring and high-quality cut-pile carpeting. The sleek design extended to the carefully selected DSW chairs and Totem LEDWall elements, which seamlessly blended with the event’s aesthetic.
Overcoming logistical challenges is part of Europalco’s expertise. The team meticulously planned the cart unloading process to align with the LEDWall’s automated movement, ensuring a flawless sequence of stage reveals. A team of 22 specialists executed the entire production in just two days, handling all aspects of AV integration, stage automation, and live show control with precision.
“This event highlighted the power of automation in delivering a truly immersive experience,” said Pedro Magalhães, CEO of Europalco. “We are continuously investing in new technologies, including rotating stages and advanced motion systems, to push the boundaries of event production.”
Europalco’s longstanding partnership with Prestígio for Brands once again resulted in a technically sophisticated and visually compelling event, reaffirming its position as a leader in the intersection of AV and automation-driven event solutions.
