Epson Debuts Three New 3LCD Home Theater Projectors; One Outputs 4K at 10,000 Lumens
Epson announced the Q-Series 4K 3LCD Laser Projectors for home theaters and home cinema applications. The new QL7000 isa 10,000 lumens of Color Brightness (IDMS Rated) and up to 6,000 lumens of White Brightness (ISO Rated) in a 3LCD projection package – it represents the flagship of the new S-series. The QL3000 model delivers up to 6,000 lumens of Color Brightness (IDMS Rated) and up to 6,000 lumens of White Brightness (ISO Rated) and there’s also the QB1000 that is spec’d to deliver 3,300 lumens of Color Brightness (IDMS Rated) and 3,300 lumens of White Brightness (ISO Rated). All projectors are capable of displaying 4K content.
All three models reproduce HDR10 10-bit color and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) content, use a Double Micro-Lens Array, have 32-bit QZX Picture Processing, and support gaming up to 4K HDR at 120 Hz; Auto Low Latency Mode helps minimize input lag and advanced frame interpolation optimizes content below 120 Hz.
