Epson is taking another shot at garnering loyalty among ProAV dealers by finally offering their ImageWay Partner Program to ProAV integrators, dealers and consultants. Although Epson’s tried (and failed) at gaining a following in the ProAV market through direct sales to the channel in the past, recently, you’ve only been able to get EPSON through distribution. Now, however, Epson’s setting up ProAV dealers directly through ImageWay for their projection products aimed at large venue applications in corporations, education and houses of worship.
Will this be enough? Will Epson, as in the past, eventually drop the program offering to the ProAV channel?
Epson claims the ImageWay Partner Program provides authorized Pro AV resellers with additional incentives and support to help expand their projector business and grow their revenues by allowing additional discounts on the PowerLite Pro G-series and the recently introduced PowerLite Pro Z8000WUNL high brightness, large format projector.
