Engagement Technology Leader, Uniguest Acquires Hospitality Division of CPI Global
NASHVILLE, Tenn., June 9, 2022 – Uniguest, a global leader in digital engagement technology to multiple end
markets, announced today the acquisition of CPI Global’s hospitality division. Following yesterday’s announcement of the acquisition of Otrum, the addition of CPI Global’s hospitality division significantly enhances Uniguest’s presence in the European hospitality market. CPI’s hospitality technology is
widely adopted in France with significant contracts with leading brands in the hotel industry.
CPI Hospitality has provided a managed digital signage service and music solutions for hotels, including on-site
support, for over 10 years but with a renewed focus on Digital Retail Experiences the time was right to pass their hospitality division to another expert in the space.
Georges Habibian CEO from CPI commented, “Uniguest has an incredible range of customers both in hospitality
and in other markets, with an unrivalled product set, and so we see them as the perfect partner to pass on the
baton in servicing our loyal clients and to taking on development of our digital signage CMS.”
Uniguest chief executive officer, Jeff Hiscox added, “CPI has been delighting its customers for many years and we trust ourselves to continue that service. With several of CPI’s expert team joining ours we feel that we have the knowledge and experience to enhance the offering into CPI’s hospitality customers and to continue achieving quality customer care.
“We’re building a world-class team and business at Uniguest, and the addition of the CPI hospitality division will
help drive us towards our goal of being the world’s top provider of secure digital engagement technologies.”
Uniguest is a portfolio company of Atlantic Street Capital and adding CPI Hospitality Division to the Uniguest
organization marks its second acquisition of 2022 following on from Otrum this month, and following on from
JANUS Displays, Sagely, UCView, Volara and Planet eStream in 2021.
