The new Airmotiv T-Zero ($499/pair and currently shipping), which is the third and most compact tower loudspeaker in Emotiva’s Airmotiv series, features a 32 x 25mm Airmotiv folded ribbon tweeter and a pair of 5 ¼” woven fiber drivers in a strong, acoustically sound High Density Fiberboard (HDF) cabinet.
“A limited space environment doesn’t mean sound should be limited, too,” said Dan Laufman, President and CEO, Emotiva Audio Corp. “Like its two predecessors in the Airmotiv line, the T-Zero packs a powerful sonic punch, but it takes up significantly less space than its older siblings.”
With a compact footprint measuring only 37 ¾” (H) x 7 1/16” (W) x 10 ½” (D), the Airmotiv T-Zero is custom-tailored for mid-size and smaller rooms. Designed to produce outstanding sonic detail when listening to both music and movie soundtracks, the T-Zero features a frequency range of 48Hz – 28kHz for the full spectrum of sonic perfection, with a lower driver that is especially optimized for low frequency response.
Emotiva Audio’s Airmotiv T-Zero is designed for superior sonic output when compared to competitors’ products at twice the price, whether used as the sole speakers in a stereo system, front channels in a surround system, or as both front and rear channel speakers in a no-hold-barred 5.1 array.
Like the Airmotiv T1 and T2 floorstanding models, the T-Zero features a front bezel that is finished with multiple coats of satin finish black lacquer, while the sides are covered with tough, aesthetically appealing textured black vinyl. Emotiva employs a removable, magnetically attached grille, and high quality five-way gold-plated binding posts for secure and flexible connectivity.
