The U.K.-based digital signage software company, embed signage, has put in place a “Climate Positive” action plan with immediate effect that’ll see the company make regular contributions for its workforce and to correlate business operations to the planting of trees + CO2 reduction with Ecologi. Embed has outlined its commitment, which includes:
- For every license sold 10x trees will be planted
- For every 5x licenses sold 1x tonne of CO2 will be offset
- For every new approved Reseller, 50x trees will be planted and 5x tonnes of CO2 offset
- A monthly contribution for their workforce with a minimum of 60 trees planted and 4.4tonnes of CO2 offset“

To kick start the initiative, embed signage has made a contribution to the planting of 7,500 trees which will yield approximately 2300 tonnes of CO2offset during their lifespan. They have also made an initial contribution to carbon reduction projects yielding an initial 70+ tonnes of carbon reduction, equivalent to approximately 290,000Km driven in a car.
