DynaScan Announces World’s Brightest Professional LCD

DynaScan Technology has announced a new 1080p 55” LCD that produces a sunlight viewable 7,000 nit image. Dubbed the DS551LT7, it’s designed for applications in high ambient light environments like storefront windows, outdoor kiosks, and other locations with direct sunlight.

DynaScan says that each screen is individually color-calibrated to the D65 (6500 K) color standard and it will be available by the end of Q1 2015. Here are all the specs.
