DVDO Announces New Lineup of Video Handling Devices for Simplified Integration
DVDO announced a new lineup of “video handling devices” designed to simplify integration and installation of public information displays. The new line of DVDO HDMI splitters, switches and matrix multiplexers distribute video from a single content source to multiple displays, select among multiple sources for output to a single display or route multiple sources to multiple video and audio subsystems. These functions simplify content programming between static information display, interactive engagement and livestreaming from sources including DVDO commercial conferencing cameras, Blu-ray players, set-top boxes, PCs and laptops. There is a reseller discount program for government, education and healthcare AV installations.
These diverse content sources can be processed into H.264 / H.265 data streams using DVDO encoder/decoder devices and carried over IP to feed video walls and display arrays. In addition to data streams for distance transmission in larger installations, DVDO HDMI and USB extenders employ HDBaseT to carry control and communication up to 330 feet across classrooms, conference rooms and large venues via a single Ethernet cable run.
DVDO’s line of video communication devices fully support HDMI 2.0, USB 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 for universal compatibility are here.
