The new ImagePro 8755G is an LCD projector specified at XGA resolution, 2200 ANSI lumens and 400:1 contrast ratio. It is especially suited for education with both blackboard and whiteboard modes, Kensington lock slot and security bar and other anti-theft features. It has input source naming, lamp and filer access on the side for easier access when ceiling mounted and it is billed as HDTV ready with progressive scan.
It is selling for about $1,000 from online vendors.
