Education-Vertical-page-1012The Digital Signage Federation will present the final installment in its first webinar series for the Higher Education sector on Nov. 14 at 2 p.m. EDT with “Higher Education 103: Campus Signage and Enterprise IT.” This webcast, presented by Thomas Kunka, service manager, Illinois Digital Signage Service, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, focuses on strategies for the deployment of digital signage across college and university campuses.

The increasing adoption of digital signage on college and university campuses has many institutions turning to their IT organizations to develop more effective strategies for the deployment and operation of their growing signage networks. This free webinar will share best practices, lessons learned, and provide insight into how and why digital signage is being seen by some institutions as a potential enterprise-level IT service.

Attendees will:

  • Learn how the elements of the traditional digital signage value chain “translate” into campus environments
  • Explore the unique technical, operational, and financial challenges of localized and enterprise campus digital signage networks
  • Discover who the key stakeholders may be on your campus and how to engage them
  • Know what key questions to ask solution providers, integrators, manufacturers and other key stakeholders why they are relevant to your projects

In addition to this webcast series there is a wealth of information on various applications, articles, white papers and other resource materials for higher education institutions to reference on the DSF website at.
