Digital Signage Federation Announces the Fall Event Lineup

dsf-0913 The Digital Signage Federation has announced its full lineup of fall educational and networking events for the digital signage industry.

Networking Events

The lineup will kick off with a night of networking on Sept. 25, 2013 beginning at 6:00 p.m. CDT at Gluek’s Restaurant & Bar in Downtown Minneapolis, Minn. The event continues the series of networking events being hosted by the Digital Signage Federation’s Board of Directors.

The event, sponsored by NEC, CastNET, Seneca and Peerless-AV will run from 6 to 9 p.m. and feature DSF Board member-at-large, Janna Rider, director of digital merchandising, American Dairy Queen as guest speaker. Rider will discuss the challenges her company overcame when implementing their digital signage network, why the investment in this technology works for American Dairy Queen, and which benefits of DSF membership she and her colleagues regularly reference as resources that they find most helpful.

Two additional networking events are planned for the fall, including one to be held in New York City during #dpbmedia week on October 23 at O’Briens Irish Pub and another networking event to be held in Santa Monica, Calif., on Dec. 4.

At each of these events, attendees will have the opportunity to network with the Digital Signage Federation Board of Directors, who will be in attendance to conversationally share their business experience, enumerate industry opportunity, and discuss the benefits of membership in the Digital Signage Federation.

Educational Events

Rounding out the events for the fall are the numerous professional development webinars hosted by the Digital Signage Federation. These webinars are open to the public and are recorded for later use by members of the Digital Signage Federation. These webinars are continuation of series intended for audiences who want to learn more about the application of digital signage in specific industry verticals or network operations.
