Digital Signage Expo, originally scheduled to be held in Las Vegas March 31 – April 3, 2020, has been postponed until later in the year, likely September, and also still in Las Vegas. This announcement seemed inevitable, perhaps overdue, particularly this week with the WHO declaring the COVID-19 outbreak a pandemic, the Trump administration announcement that travel would be restricted from multiple European countries for 30 days and cancelation or rescheduling of other major events and trade shows including NAB.

DSE has not announced much additional information yet, but Chris Gibbs, president and COO of Exponation, show organizer of DSE, told Sixteen-Nine’s Dave Haynes that: “This was not an easy decision to make, but the escalation of travel bans and Coronavirus cases dictates this action. We are working with the Las Vegas Convention Center to secure new dates for DSE 2020 and will be making that announcement in the near future.”
