The DaVinci Group President Jeff Francisco to Demo TDG Exclusive Technologies at ISE

jeffdivinciOntario, CA – January 19, 2016 – The DaVinci Group, Inc., a leading manufacturer of an award-winning line of high quality custom integration products, announced today that company President Jeff Francisco will attend the 2016 Integrated Systems Europe Show (ISE) to meet international dealers and distributors and to demonstrate the exclusive technologies in their TDG Audio and Vanguard Dynamics product lines. The ISE Show takes place in Amsterdam in February and it offers an excellent opportunity for dealers to meet one of the company’s top executives and ask any questions they may have. Dealers can also learn more about the company, its technologies, and its products.

At ISE, The DaVinci Group will display a selection of their top models pulled from an extensive catalog of more than 120 products, including architectural in-ceiling/in-wall speakers, home theater speakers, subwoofers, outdoor audio, multi-zone amplifiers, speaker switchers, volume controls, IR systems, accessories and more. In addition to those key models on display, the company will also have information, displays, and demonstrations of several TDG-exclusive technologies.

“Over the past few years, the ISE show in Amsterdam has developed into a impressive exposition that draws a large number of our international dealers not only from Europe, but from all over the world,” said Jeff Francisco, President of The DaVinci Group, Inc. “We will take advantage of this forum to offer our dealers a deeper dive into our extensive portfolio of exclusive technologies that are largely responsible for the performance and success of the TDG Audio and Vanguard Dynamics brands. We look forward to working with our dealers at ISE to not only make sure they fully understand the benefits of these technologies for their clients, but also that they are taking full advantage of them in order to maximize the performance of their installations.”

While Francisco will be at ISE to discuss all of the TDG technologies, special displays will highlight three key technologies that are very popular with dealers: STT™ Stereo Tweeter Technology, Never Rust™ Multi-Layered Grill Coatings and EZ Hold™ Tweeter Bridge.

STT™ Stereo Tweeter Technology

Many integrators find that they often run into situations where a single-point stereo speaker (one speaker reproducing both the left and right channel information) is the optimal solution for the available space. However, the solutions offered by most competitors use dual tweeters mounted side-by-side over one woofer. High-frequency wave information from each of the two tweeters collide causing a non-linear waveform compression and disruption – otherwise known as distortion.

The DaVinci Group solved this problem by eliminating the two tweeters. Instead, TDG engineers developed a proprietary solution using one tweeter, with dual voice-coils. In this way, the single tweeter reproduces both music channels with no waveform compression or distortion and delivers crystal clear sonic performance.

Never Rust™ Multi-Layered Grill Coatings

Most brands of architectural loudspeakers look perfectly fine on the first day of installation. But integrators are often horrified to discover that, over time, the speaker grills of many brands will begin to show discoloration or even rust. This is especially true in high humidity environments or with indoor/outdoor installations.

The DaVinci Group engineers set out to address this problem. The goal was to design TDG speaker grills that lasted longer before the point of discoloration, as compared to competitors’ speakers. Instead, TDG engineers discovered that by first coating the steel speaker grill with a special zinc-based coating, and then adding the final finish powder coating, they had completely eliminated the possibility of the speaker grill ever discoloring or rusting. Thanks to this added layer of protective coating as compared to competitors, the speaker grill on any TDG product will not rust – ever. For this reason, they dubbed it the Never Rust™ Speaker Grill.

EZ Hold™ Tweeter Bridge

Integrators say it can be a scary proposition standing at the top of a ladder in the process of installing an in-ceiling speaker. Between holding the speaker, carrying a power driver, and at the same time trying to keep balanced – installing speakers can be quite challenging…even dangerous.

The DaVinci Group engineers set out to help make in-ceiling installations safer by designing a tweeter bridge – the structure that holds the tweeter centered over the woofer – such that it can also serve as a hand grip. That’s right, the installer or integrator can firmly grasp the tweeter bridge as a very secure handle and easily carry the speaker up the ladder. It is this kind of attention to detail by The DaVinci Group engineers that distinguishes TDG Audio and Vanguard Dynamics products from the run-of-the-mill competitive brands.

See You at ISE
