Datapath will showcase its latest flagship VSN V3 video processor to U.S. audiences for the first time at InfoComm 2023, as well as doubling down on its “Empowering the Operator” ethos with a range of software enhancements to its Aetria solution.

The VSN V3 (third generation) will support the latest 12th Gen Intel Core i9 CPU to support a new chassis design that dramatically increases performance, according to Datapath. The casing has been re-engineered to offer air throughput reducing system temperature to increase long-term performance and reliability.

USB 3.0 is now included to support high transfer speeds and connectivity to the latest devices. Each VSN can be customized to any project requirement with a range of Datapath graphics cards, capture cards and IP decode cards. The versatility of the VSN controller claims to make it ideal for large control room applications as part of Datapath’s Aetria solution.

InfoComm visitors will be able to experience the very latest Aetria innovations, which will include enhancements to Aetria Workstation. These enhancements will allow operators to access their “personal video wall” with ease, control sources with AV-over-IP KVM and share content to any connected video wall with the click of a mouse.

“Our Aetria solution has proved a bit hit with our customers over the past year, but technology does not stand still,” says Mark Bohs, director of sales (Americas). “We are constantly looking at ways to improve user experience through our products and have made UX improvements, enhanced user rights management of video walls and added multi-cast vision stream ability. Our new ActiveSQX2 card, for example, provides scalable encode and decoding for flexible IP stream handling in mission-critical environments.”

He adds: “Along with our flagship VSN V3 processor, we are proud to showcase technology that can be scaled to any control room requirement, and we encourage integrators who operate in this space to visit our InfoComm booth for a friendly chat and a bespoke demo.”
