Datapath Hires Craig Childs as NA Business Development Manager

Datapath has appointed Craig Childs as Business Development Manager for the U.S. Midwest region, expanding its North America team. Childs brings more than 30 years of AV industry experience to the role, having previously worked with brands including Polk Audio, Atlona, Biamp and Crestron.

In his new role, Childs will work alongside Datapath’s senior sales team and Mark Bohs, director of sales (Americas), to drive business growth — particularly around the company’s Aetria platform for control room and multi-source video management.

Childs will cover Texas, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota and North Dakota.

I’m delighted to be joining them and look forward to driving new business,” said Childs. “I have been familiar with their video processing innovation – across all vertical markets – for several years and have been particularly impressed with the drive and commitment to improve Control Room video operations.
