D Tools

D-Tools Inc. will demonstrate its solutions at Integrated Systems Europe stand 2P300, May 10-13, in Barcelona.

D-Tools introduces D-Tools Cloud to the UK market in partnership with Pulse Cinemas, a UK-based AV distributor that focuses on home cinema and immersive, engaging experiences for the residential market. Currently serving nearly 1,000 system integrators in North America, D-Tools Cloud is an easy-to-implement cloud-based platform that offers an alternative to system integrators in the region seeking ways to close more business faster and drive increased productivity from any web-enabled device.

“‘We’re thrilled to be working alongside the D-Tools team to bring this innovative solution to integrators in the UK,” said Kapes Patel, Pulse Cinemas Technical Director. “D-Tools Cloud helps dealers deliver a “best-in-class” experience to their clients. Further, through our partnership, all of Pulse Cinemas’ product lines including dealer-specific pricing will be available to our dealers to ensure accuracy and expediency during the system design and estimating process.”

Customers attest that D-Tools Cloud delivers on the promise to reduce their proposal backlog by expediting the generation and throughput of proposals, allowing them to close business faster and focus on the next opportunity. The platform’s interactive, multimedia proposals and browser-based visual quoting create a collaborative experience with clients, leading to prompt e-sign approval and deposit, and higher close rates. In addition, D-Tools Cloud’s post-sales capabilities such as scheduling, project planning, task management, and time tracking help integrators ensure that jobs are delivered on-time and on-budget.

D-Tools Cloud will officially be available in the UK by the end of Q2 2022.

D-Tools will also showcase several recent enhancements to its on-premises software solution, System Integrator version 18. Geared to meet the unique needs of electronic systems contractors, new capabilities help companies save time, gain deeper insight into project processes, and improve operating efficiency throughout their business.

Enhancements to SI include:

Sales and Quoting Management
Quantity-based Quoting, ideal for large-scale security and structured cabling projects, improves application performance while allowing salespeople to develop a scope and budget in a fraction of time. Items (i.e. products, labor, packages, and solutions) may now be entered by quantity, without the need to assign location and system type, making it easy to price out and modify system estimates on-the-fly.

Products/items now have a new Purchase Cost field, which improves multi-currency support by enabling users to accurately track the cost for an item in one currency and present the price for that item in a quote in different currency, regardless of currency conversion.

Inventory Tracking
New Tracknicity and TRXio integrations help integrators manage their inventory, which at the same time ensures that inventory items, whether pulled from stock or order for a project, are efficiently, seamlessly, and accurately tracked from proposal through being purchased, received, staged, picked, delivered, installed, and serviced, thereby keeping projects on schedule while helping to reduce unnecessary and unwanted inventory buildup and avoid duplicate product purchases.

SI v18 also includes several additional performance enhancements to help boost productivity and achieve healthier bottom-line results.
