Denver, CO, September 11, 2014 – Crestron is showcasing their complete line of motorized shading solutions at CEDIA® EXPO 2014, booth #150. The expansive display includes major new product enhancements that provide integrators with even more ways to ensure homeowners enjoy ultra-reliable performance with unparalleled luxury.

New Digital Motor
Crestron is demonstrating the new Digital QMT™ 3 Series shade motor (CSM-QMTDC-163-1), which expands their industry-first line of brushless motors with solid-state controls. The new motor features a smaller diameter than the award-winning 5 Series (CSM-QMTDC-256-2), enabling placement in narrower window jambs and shallower pockets. It delivers tremendous torque with virtually silent operation, powering shades up to 8’ wide or as small as 17.5” wide. Both motors are available with Cresnet® or wireless infiNET EX® communications.

New Hardware
Elegant new hardware is also on display for 3 Series and 5 Series Digital QMT motors, in both the Décor and Architectural styles. This includes new adjustable brackets, pockets, and fascia for a full range of installations. Décor style brackets are now available for inside mount as well as outside mount. Architectural brackets are now available for dual-roll configurations. The 3 Series bracket is designed to fit pockets as small as 3”x3” for a single roll; 5 Series brackets fit pockets as small as 5”x5”.

New Designer Fabrics
Crestron is introducing more than 100 new fashion-forward fabrics that make shading more beautiful than ever. We now offer over 450 fabrics in a full range of styles and textures to ensure homeowners find the perfect solution for every space.

Exclusive Crestron Hartmann & Forbes® Collection
Select Crestron shades dealers will now have the opportunity to offer customers a new collection of custom textiles from Hartmann & Forbes. A favorite with interior designers, Hartmann & Forbes is a leader in hand-woven natural window coverings. Shade panels are meticulously created by artisans on wooden looms individually for each project, and shipped with the specified Crestron shade motor and hardware.

CDT 2.0 is Live
The all-new Crestron Design Tool (CDT) for shading solutions is now live. All Crestron fabrics, hardware, motors, and accessories are now integrated into the system to streamline quoting and ordering for residential projects.

Right Size Guarantee
Crestron now guarantees new shades will fit perfectly in customer homes with the Right Size Guarantee. Dealers no longer have to worry that every measurement is flawless. Under this policy, Crestron will resize or replace any new shades that do no fit as intended. Get the details.
