Rockleigh, NJ – September 6, 2018 – Crestron, a global leader in commercial lighting control technology, announced today it is now accepting North American entries for the 2108 Global Home Technology Awards. The annual competition recognizes the most innovative and spectacular achievements in residential system design that feature Crestron home automation and control technology. Crestron Technology Professionals, Crestron dealers, designers, architects, Crestron Service Providers, and partners are all eligible to submit projects in the following twelve categories: Ultimate Crestron Home; Ultimate Crestron Super Yacht; Ultimate Multi-Dwelling Unit; Best Lighting Application; Best Shading Application; Best User Experience; Best GUI; Most Unique Application; Best Design Meets Technology; Best Incorporation of the Crestron Pyng® Operating System; Best Showroom/Demo Space; and Best Integration Utilizing Crestron Partners. Winners will be announced at the Crestron CTP Summit, which will take place in Palisades, NY, October 9-10.
“Whether you think you’ve completed the best Crestron home project across the entire globe this year, or the best superyacht project on the high seas, or if you’re especially proud of a GUI you designed that delivers a user experience beyond anything else, now’s your chance to win bragging rights, and a lot more,” said John Clancy, VP Residential, at Crestron.
North American winning entries will be published in the Crestron North American Home Technology annual awards brochure and on the Crestron Global Home Technology annual awards web page. Award winners will also receive a case study created by Crestron, joint PR and social media coverage, a beautiful trophy to put on display, and a brand-new award logo for use on digital platforms.
Only projects completed since July 1st, 2017 are eligible. The closing date for North American entries is Friday, September 28th, 2018. EMEA and APAC entries will undergo the same process, with the final regional winners announced at the ISE 2019 trade show in Amsterdam.
