Crestron Electronics today announced the DM Lite transmitters and receivers for extending HDMI and USB-C signals. DM Lite transmitters and receivers support peripheral extensions of video resolutions up to 4K@40 (4:4:4) and supports enterprise-grade security protocols and the latest security standard in enterprise content protection, HDCP 2.3.
Because USB-C is a connection point in personal devices, Crestron recognized the need to support this connectivity and address its 10-feet distance limitation, so these adapters allow for distances up to 230 feet while also charging any USB-C device.
The DM Lite series of adapters can be paired with Crestron HD Presentation Switchers as well as the DM family of switchers.
Additional available features include audio embedding and de-embedding, control extension and an audio return channel. With twenty-five available models you’d better go see them all here.
