Crestron Adds USB-C Connectivity Into the DVX AV-over-IP Platform With New DM NVX 384
Crestron announced the new DM NVX 384 encoder/decoder, allowing for USB-C connectivity in the DM NVX platform, and support for 5K resolutions (21:9). The multi-input switching on the new 384 allows for two HDMI inputs and two USB-C inputs. Basically it’s an AV-over-IP encoder or decoder with a built-in 4×1 HDMI and USB‑C input switcher that transports up to 5K video over standard Gigabit Ethernet (1G) that also HDR (High Dynamic Range) and HDCP 2.3 with built‑in scaling and video wall processing, adaptive bit rate, surround sound to stereo down-mixing, native AES67 transmit and receive capability, USB and KVM routing, and optional fiber connectivity.
