Crestron Debuts an NVX Receiver in an OPS slot for Monitors and Projectors
Crestron is debuting DM-NVX-D80-IoAV at InfoComm. Basically it’s an OPS slot box with an integrated NVX AV-over-IP receiver (1G) for monitors and projectors with OPS inputs like LG, NEC, Philips, Avocor and Smart. The DM NVX decoder plugs into the OPS port and is powered by the display. This eliminates the need for cables and power supplies. And, this technology also allows for integration with Crestron XiO Cloud, an IOT-based platform that enables system deployment without programming with the ability to monitor, manage and control each display from one centralized location.
The DM NVX-D80-IoAV is part of the NVX family of 1G AV-over-IP products that use Crestron’s Pixel Perfect Processing technology. DM NVX network AV is a scalable solution that also transports audio, USB and control.
It’s not not the Crestron website yet but, when it is, it will be here.
