Crestron Electronics announced new additions to its residential lighting control lineup, introducing a next generation of Cameo keypads, dimmers, and switches, along with expanded finish options for the Horizon series.
The updated Cameo line features up to 138 customizable button layouts, three button types, and field-replaceable buttons. Installers can configure the devices with Crestron Impress engraving, allowing icons, text, and layouts to be fully customized. RGB backlighting provides more than 16 million color options, supports dim-to-warm and circadian rhythm scheduling, and adapts to different ambient conditions. The keypads also include advanced dimming capabilities that work without a neutral wire, making them suitable for retrofit projects.
For Horizon keypads and dimmers, Crestron added four new metal finishes — brushed brass, dark nickel, dark bronze, and brushed black. Designed for residential, hospitality, and marine environments, Horizon devices combine modern styling with a modular button design and tactile feedback. Flexible engraving and advanced backlighting remain part of the package.
Both Cameo and Horizon integrate with Crestron Home OS, providing unified control of lighting, shading, audio, video, climate, and other connected systems. Crestron emphasized that the platform allows fast configuration for dealers without requiring subscription fees.
The company said the new offerings are aimed at meeting demand from luxury residential projects and design-driven installations, giving integrators more flexibility in matching aesthetics with functional control.
