CoolAutomation Simplifies Home Automation HVAC Integration

Against the backdrop of the USA Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning market’s steady growth CoolAutomation has further streamlined HVAC integration for Home Automation.

According to BISRIA, construction-oriented research and consultancy organization, in 2016 the US HVAC market showed an impressive growth of 2%, second in market size globally. Analysts are not surprised by these results, considering that today an air-conditioned home or office are perceived as given. However, the energy consumption of Air Conditioning systems, small or large is still significant which has led to a recent influx of more energy-efficient inverter-based solutions: Split HVAC and VRF HVAC.

Inverter based HVAC matters even more

CoolAutomation’s R&D has focused on accommodating the trend towards energy-conscious technologies. The result; a solution series that allow integrators to set a robust bi-directional connectivity with home automation controls and VRF, Multi-split and split HVAC systems. The company’s latest offerings support all leading HVAC brands, such as Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba and Carrier, Fujitsu, LG and many more.

Integrators are already familiar with CoolAutomation’s VRF integration solution:  CoolMasterNet, a universal HVAC bridge. The solution allows seamless integration between all VRF HVAC and almost any home automation system.

The recent release by CoolAutomation is an integration solution for Split HVAC systems. The CoolPlug & CooLinkHub allow single split units to be interconnected and integrated into a home automation system. From a single home automation app and control panel end-users gain full control of all connected indoor units’ operation. Thanks to this cost-effective solution consumers can now also enjoy the benefits of home automation integration with their HVAC systems.

Why it matters so much?

Arkadi Cherniak, CoolAutomation VP Sales and Business Development, explains the strategy behind the company’s latest product developments: “HVAC professionals are facing a steep learning curve when it comes to the inverter-based Split and VRF HVAC. Despite representing over 80% of the global air conditioning market, only 6% are installed in the US. Clearly there is much room for growth in North America, as reinforced by the expected 9.2% growth anticipated for VRF HVAC by 2020. As home automation integrators strive to master VRF and Split HVAC integration, CoolAutomation helps by streamlining this transition with intuitive integration-efficient products, backed by expert professional support.”

Arkadi concluded: ”Bottom line – this means more projects for integrators, empowering them to bring high quality integration projects to their customers, covering all HVAC system types. Come see us at CEDIA 2018, we’ll gladly show how!”
