Control4 Corporation has announced new Triad Distributed Audio Series multi-room audio loudspeakers, with 14 models in different sizes and configurations engineered with builders, contractors and homeowners in mind. Distributed Audio Series speakers feature pivoting tweeters and vary in size as well as in-wall and in-ceiling installation configurations. All models ship with a white, round, low-profile grill. Replacement square and round grills are available for purchase from Control4 and can be custom paint-matched to blend into any décor. Fast and simple to install, the Distributed Audio Series tweeter bridge doubles as a handle and the mounting screw system is designed to significantly reduce installation time.

Distributed Audio Series 1: For those seeking an affordable, whole-home audio option for new construction or finished living areas, Distributed Audio Series 1 offers two multi-room audio speaker solutions ideal for background music. Available as an in-ceiling (TS-IC61) or in-wall (TS-IW61) model, Distributed Audio Series 1 speakers utilize polypropylene woofers and 3/4-inch aimable cloth dome tweeters that offer long life, installation flexibility and crystal-clear sound.

Distributed Audio Series 2 : In-ceiling and in-wall models in the Distributed Audio Series 2 are acoustically-refined speakers that Triad says can fill the entire home with music. Built around reinforced poly-mica woofers, Distributed Audio Series 2 speakers offer superior bass and aimable Teteron dome tweeters deliver a full, natural sound. All four in-ceiling models (TS-IC52, TS-IC62, TS-IC82, and TS-IC82DT) and two in-wall models (TS-IW62 and TS-IW82) are voice-matched, allowing homeowners to mix and match speaker configurations throughout the home to enjoy identical tonal qualities from room to room. For projects trying to squeeze stereo sound into a smaller space, the Distributed Audio Series 2 TS-IC82DT model incorporates dual tweeters.

Distributed Audio Series 3: Four in-ceiling models (TS-IC53, TS-IC63, TS-IC83 and TS-IC83DT – with dual tweeters), and two in-wall models (TS-IW63 and TS-IW83) include one-inch aimable silk dome tweeters for smooth, high-frequency sound and carbon-fiber woofers provide durability and deep bass. Distributed Audio Series 3 in-wall speaker models also come equipped with an integrated back box for superior sound isolation.
