Contacta Systems will return to ISE 2023 with new products and a chance for visitors to get interactive. The company will showcase its VLD1 hearing loop driver, specifically designed for use on buses and coaches. Created in response to demand from operators needing to comply with new accessibility standards, the VLD1 enables passengers with hearing loss to receive recorded and driver announcements directly to their hearing device.

ISE 2023, which takes place 31 January – 3 February 2023 in Barcelona and brings together more than 1,000 exhibitors from the global AV and systems integration industry, will also be the first opportunity visitors will have had to get close-up to Contacta’s V22 large area loop driver.

The new V22 is the latest addition to the flagship V Series range. Designed for perimeter and figure-of-eight loop layouts in medium to large venues, the V22 is a powerful constant current, single output driver packed with new additional features.

New to visitors will also be the STS-K009IP rated window intercom call systems as well as a brand-new IP rated screen-mounted system. This IP55 range has been designed for outdoor environments; think delivery points, ski resorts or security checkpoints, and protects against water, dust and dirt ingress.

Ran Meyrav, head of new business development, will be leading the Contacta team at booth 7B350.

“We’re excited to be returning to ISE and showcasing these new products,” he said. “There is growing global awareness about hearing accessibility and with new accessibility standards such as the EN 17210 making an impact, we’re expecting significant interest in our product range. As well as being able to experience a live demo of its market-leading window intercom systems, there will be the chance to design a large area hearing loop system on Contacta’s all-new and improved Loop Design 3D Visualiser.
