Just spent a few minutes at the Cisco booth, where I have a little bone to pick with my favorite telepresence supplier. They announced (and demonstrated) their iPad app for telepresence (Jabber Video) several months ago with a pretty foggy announcement on when it would be available (but with a lot of materials for integrators to use to promote it). It still is not available on the app store, and clients we promoted it to are clamoring for it – loudly. They are showing it again here, and the statement I got today was a best guess of “end of the month”. I had honestly expected that they would release it here at the show, since they are certainly being besieged by dealers about it. For those of my clients who read this blog, this is the answer I am getting. Stay tuned.
