Christie supports continuous learning at Phoenix, Arizona training center Center offers courses on next-generation Christie technology

CYPRESS, Calif. – (July 31, 2019) – Christie® customers that are eager to learn more about the company’s content management and image processing solutions can register for training courses at its Phoenix, Arizona location, now through to September. Courses being offered include the Christie Spyder X80, Christie Terra, Christie Phoenix and Christie Pandoras Box, with additional training sessions to be announced in the fall.

Users of Christie Spyder X80 and Christie Phoenix can register for a three-day course or two-day course, respectively; each designed to prepare an operator to install, configure, program and operate a system. Christie Pandoras Box training takes users from general aspects of media server environments to advanced show set-up over two courses.

Christie users interested in control system programming in the Pandoras Box Widget Designer will become familiar with control software scripting in the first course, and expand their knowledge, adding the node system and variables in the second course. The Christie Terra course will walk users through configuration workflow for the broad set of switching, control and processing of AV signals over 10G Ethernet networks.  Foundational AV over IP network training is also integrated into the Terra course.

“Part of the Christie advantage is our support of the products we sell, including in-field, in-class and online training. We want end-users, integrators and dealers to understand and use Christie products to their full advantage,” says Peter Keyser, sales engineer, Christie. “Our in-class training courses offer small group learning and comprehensive hands-on practice with experienced instructors, so attendees can maximize the use of their Christie products and solutions.”

The training center features six 55-inch LCD panels in a three by two configuration, flanked by a 75-inch LCD panel on each side, as well as two Christie HS Series laser projectors blended onto an 11-foot screen. The Spyder X80, Phoenix, and Pandoras Box are all fed into the videowall and projectors through a Terra controlled system for hands-on learning.
