Christie Adds Four New LCD Monitors — One Includes an SDVoE (Terra) Input

Christie is introducing four new flat panels including the Christie UHD654-X-HR 65-inch with Christie Terra (SDVoE-based AV-over-IP) that allows routing and scaling 4K sources. Combined with Christie Terra, Christie’s AV-over-IP solution, the UHD654-X-HR delivers a turnkey videowall solution using a 65″ monitor — instead of a 55″ like every other monitor company.

Debuting at InfoComm 2019, the 65-inch UHD654-X-HR is native 3840×2160 resolution, has HDMI, DisplayPort and a Terra input and includes a redundant power supply option. It’s also an ADA-compliant depth.

In addition to the 65″, they are debuting a 98″ too. Delivering 4K@60Hz UHD resolution, 350-nit typical brightness and wireless, USB and Bluetooth content playback, the Christie UHD982-P is a budget-friendly plug-and-play commercial display. An integrated OPS slot allows for integration of signage players, video extension and other supported devices (i.e., Terra coming in OPS!) while also providing for future upgrades. Christie is also previewing a so-called razor-narrow bezel panel with a combined bezel of just 0.88 millimeters, as well as a high performance 98-inch flat panel.

This means they now have 49″, 55″, 86″, 98″ and also the new 65-inch flat panel. Christie is in the monitor business for sure now.

Both the Christie UHD654-X-R and Christie UHD982-P ship in the summer of 2019. Here they are.
