Chief debuted new mounting solutions at DSE 2019 in Las Vegas. The FCS1U Cable Floor-to-Ceiling Flat Panel Mount provides QSRs and retail with a new low-profile option for digital signage. The mount supports both portrait and landscape orientations in a single SKU, with the option to retrofit a second, back-to-back display with the PACFCB accessory. The mount supports large displays with a 130-pound (59 kilogram) weight capacity. Post-installation pitch alignment keeps the display from tilting without having to over-tighten the cables. The cables reach up to 15 feet (4.57 meters) between floor and ceiling.
For large venues with structural columns, Chief is introducing new column adapter accessories to make it possible to add flat panel displays to I-beams, box-beams, trusses and a variety of column shapes and sizes.
The FCASCA Structural Column Adapter wraps around round, concrete structural columns and can be cut to size in the field, eliminating the need for exact measurements. The FCAVCA Variable Column Adapter works with I-beams, box-beams and other various column shapes. Both solutions support 200 pounds (70.7 kilograms) in portrait and landscape orientations. The adapters are compatible with Chief’s Fusion, Fusion Modular and Thinstall Swing-Arm mounts.
Another new large venue solution, the VCT Large Venue Projector Mount is lighter and slimmer than its predecessor and works well with projectors between 50-150 pounds (22.7 – 68 kilograms). Tool-free MicroZone adjustment ensures accurate and reliable image registration. A redesigned universal interface is sized to accommodate most patterns within its footprint.
