Channel Vision Firmware Update on NVR allows use with Crestron

phpgXxidOPMCosta Mesa – July 14, 2016 –Channel Vision, a leading manufacturer of technology for the Well-Connected Home™, has updated the firmware on the latest 9-Channel NVR in order to enable compatibility with the leading automation platforms such as Crestron, Savant, RTI, Elan and more. The firmware upgrade allows users to easily view all cameras from the NVR on Smarthome platforms using Universal Plug and Play (UPNP).

“The new firmware in our 9-Channel NVR makes it easy to view all your cameras at once on a variety of automation platforms,” stated Channel Vision President Darrel Hauk. “With UPNP also built into our IP cameras, homeowners can also easily pull up cameras individually.”

The 9-Channel NVR (NVR-09N) supports 9 IP camera inputs and up to 5 megapixels per channel. It features smart search and playback, a built-in POE switch, ONVIF protocol and the ability to access the Central Management Software from the Smartphone app. The NVR is also equipped with an RTSP stream input which allows third party cameras to be used with the recording device.
