INDIANAPOLIS (August 16, 2016) – Today CEDIA has launched a new online community, an exclusive CEDIA member benefit, designed to be another touchpoint for members to develop and sustain connections that will help them thrive in the industry.
The new CEDIA Community platform will provide a space for members to access downloadable resources, connect with peers both in their region and across the globe, discuss industry hot topics, share ideas with industry subject matter experts and thought leaders, extend the conversation after in-person events, and much more.
“So many CEDIA members share the same story of making a connection with someone in the industry who became a critical part of their success. We love to hear these stories, and my own career has been significantly shaped by the people I have met and learned from along the way. We are thrilled to be able to offer CEDIA members another avenue to connect with one another year-round,” said Vin Bruno, CEDIA CEO.
All CEDIA members have been sent a welcome email that walks them through the process of setting up their profile and adjusting their personal settings.
“As we have gone through the beta-testing period, our volunteers have shared that the CEDIA community is incredibly user friendly, and we already have individuals utilizing the discussion threads to ask questions and seek out recommendations for the upcoming CEDIA show,” said Laura Hockstra, CEDIA Senior Director of Membership.
