CEDIA Expo along with its co-location with Commercial Integrator Expo offered a glimpse into the future of custom smart home and commercial systems installation technologies. This year’s event with its dynamic exhibits and comprehensive educational program highlighted several groundbreaking products from emerging and established industry leaders that will shape the future of home automation, energy management and more.

From smart textile flooring to automated window awnings, CEDIA Expo was the place to explore innovations that enhance client’s everyday living. The event gave industry professionals the opportunity to experience these innovative solutions firsthand, all on one show floor. This year’s event featured an impressive array of technologies, including a few highlights:

Applied Sensor Co. introduced its TrampleTek smart textile flooring, a solution for solving package theft in homes where traditional security cameras aren’t suitable. The product seamlessly integrated soft, stretchy sensor technology with IoT capabilities, offering a comfortable yet effective way to enhance home security.

Bond impressed with its smart wind, rain and sunlight sensor, designed for effortless automation of outdoor screens, pergola louvers and shutters. The sensor worked with the Bond Bridge Pro, providing real-time weather data and motorized control based on pre-set thresholds, making outdoor comfort easier to manage.

Crestron showcased the latest updates to its Crestron Home OS, highlighting powerful new features aimed at enhancing smart home installations. With an expanding portfolio of devices and third-party solutions, the updated OS provided integrators with greater flexibility and control.

FX Luminaire featured its premium Luxor lighting control system, the most advanced low-voltage landscape lighting transformer on the market. Attendees experienced Luxor’s zoning, dimming and color control capabilities firsthand, witnessing how it could transform both residential and commercial outdoor spaces.

Jetbuilt debuted its AI-driven Service Desk, which integrates with the company’s Service module to provide users with independent troubleshooting options. The system’s ability to scan a device’s QR code for diagnostic purposes, guide users through repairs and generate support tickets for integrators ensures streamlined and efficient customer support.

First-time exhibitor Juke Audio demonstrated its multi-room amplifier, which distributes clear, crisp sound throughout entire homes or buildings, offering complete control over audio in multiple spaces from a single system.

Modern Atomics made its debut with the innovative Reaktor DC22, a power distribution unit that dramatically reduced installation time and costs by powering up to 22 shades without requiring AC power or conduit. Its AI technology optimizes energy consumption, cutting project deployment time in half and offering significant energy savings.

RoseWater Energy presented its Energy Hub, designed to deliver continuous, clean power regardless of grid fluctuations such as spikes, surges or outages. Finally, Sol-Lux introduced the EOS Automated Window Awning, a solar-powered shading solution that autonomously operated based on wind, temperature and sunlight conditions.
