CEDIA Calls for ISE Presenters for February Event in Amsterdam

cedia-ise-0915CEDIA is asking members to play a leading part in its education program for ISE 2016, inviting them to contribute to course content and host CEDIA training courses for visitors at the event.

“ISE is the major EMEA event for our industry,” says Matt Nimmons, operations director at CEDIA. “Our education sessions at the show always prove incredibly popular with visitors attending the show. This year, we’d like to freshen things up and give our members the opportunity to suggest the courses that we deliver as part of the program, then support our commitment to training and sharing best practice by presenting the sessions we provide.”

CEDIA’s ‘Call For Presentations’ is open to members who have proven experience in the residential technology sector and welcomes presentation suggestions on industry relevant subjects. To be a presenter at the show, CEDIA members must be confirmed attendees at ISE 2016 (9th – 12th February 2016, RAI, Amsterdam) and a subject-matter expert in his/her chosen topic. Presentation topics and course materials must be given to the CEDIA office by October 9th, 2015 for review and approval.

“The short courses we run at ISE have always received a great response from attendees and are helpful to installers,” comments Dave Robinson, Managing Director at Sensible Heat, a regular presenter at ISE. “Not only would I recommend taking part and presenting your expertise at ISE, but I certainly always learn something on every course too. With attendees from all over the world sharing their thoughts and experiences, I always look forward to the show!”

At ISE 2015, CEDIA presented 24 varied expert courses and workshops, including four one-day training courses and twenty 90 minute sessions, including an introduction to KNX and BMS, “Atmos, Auro 3D and more,” “Ecological Automation – the Basics of Energy,” “HDMI 2.0: The Next Generation for Video Connectivity” and “Working Profitably with Architects.”

To be considered, please send your name, email address and a few lines describing your presentation idea to education@cedia.co.uk. The CEDIA Education team will then select the most appropriate presentations for the show’s schedule. Training and supporting material will be provided prior to the show.
