Canon Replaces 4K XEED Projector Line

Canon Europe today announced the launch of the XEED 4K6021Z — a high brightness, native 4K laser projector, building on the success of the XEED 4K5020Z (which launched in December 2018). Further expanding Canon’s extensive range of 4K solutions, this projector with dual DisplayPort connectivity. Using LCoS, this laser projector is spec’d at 6,000 lumen color brightness and incorporates 10-bit, 4:4:4 color processing covering the entire sRGB color space.

The 4K6021Z uses a 4K DCI resolution (4096×2160) LCoS chip and there are seven interchangeable Canon lens options including the recently launched RS-SL07RST 4K standard zoom lens which uses Canon’s precision-built glass for minimal distortion. This new lens offers 1.76x motorized zoom and +/- 73 percent vertical lens shift for flexibility in installation. The laser light source makes it possible to use the 4K6021Z in any 360-degree of orientation. In addition to the two DisplayPorts, the projector has HDMI and support for HDR.

The laser light source offers up to 40,000 hours of maintenance-free operation. Here are all the specs.
