You Can Tour World’s Largest Indoor LED Videowall While at InfoComm 2016

westgate-0616Westgate Resorts SuperBook, the largest race and sports book in Las Vegas, now features Christie Velvet LED tiles in a 67-meter (220’ wide) by 6-meter (20’ tall) video wall, also called the highest resolution indoor LED video wall in the world.

Westgate Resorts leaned on the expertise of RP Visual Solutions (RPV), Christie and HB Communications to create this curved array running the length of the world’s largest sports book.

And RPV offers InfoComm attendees a look at Superbook, combined with a Behind the Mount stand tour.

Christie Velvet 2.5mm LED tiles (1640 of them!) form the Westgate Superbook which adds to their stadium-like experience with a curved bar (30 meters) following the shape of the screen and with more than 300 relaxation lounger chairs for sports fans.

“Pictures and video do not do this wall justice. It is definitely something you must see in person for the full effect. RPV is known for creating large, curved, tilted, and architecturally integrated mounting solutions. The Superbook ticks off three of those features. We are one of the only engineering companies focused on creating precision custom mounts for these types of challenging applications…” says Randy Pagnan, owner of RPV (an a well-known industry executive from his contribution to industry associations over the years.)

“We decided to resurrect our Mount Hall of Fame again this year. People really get a kick out of seeing what’s forbidden, in this case, behind our mounts. This year we’ve got a serpentine shaped Digital Zipper housing some of our innovative mounting solutions typically used for mounting LED, flat panels, projection cubes and front/rear projection systems… Contact me for your free exhibit hall Pass,” adds Brandy Alvarado, marketing manager and business development for RPV.

InfoComm will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center from June 8-10. RPV will be sharing a stand with dnp Denmark (Randy Pagnan owns the North American distributorship of dnp screens for the Americas).
