BrightSign Unveils Series 5 Media Players, Collaboration With MOKA at InfoComm 2023

BrightSign is here at InfoComm showing its line of Series 5 media players, including launching a new XT5 and a ProAV display with integrated digital signage capabilities developed by MOKA Technology. The BrightSign XT5 joins the previously announced AU5, LS5, HD5, XD5 and the flagship XC5 player to round out BrightSign’s portfolio — winner of one of our Readers’ Choice Awards for 2023.
But the most surprising thing here is that Brightsign is partnering with MOKA to launch al all-in-one display — the BS60, part of a line of commercial displays featuring the BrightSign Built-in platform. BrightSign developed the new display with MOKA Technology, a TCL Technology Group subsidiary. MOKA joins the growing list of hardware manufacturers embracing the BrightSign Built-In platform.
One cool part of BrightSign’s booth is a look at what the company sees as the future of the locker room. A signage display creates personalized experiences for both current athletes and potential recruits. The locker features a 29-inch Bluefin Ultrawide display with BrightSign Built-In that displays content triggered by a trio of input devices, including wireless sensors that cue specific video content when either the player’s helmet or jersey is lifted, as well as wrist bands with embedded sensors programmed to trigger athlete-specific content whenever the athlete nears the locker. Similar innovative locker room solutions are currently in production and have been deployed by several higher education athletic programs as well as the National Football League (NFL) here in the US.
Here’s a look at it:
