Behind the Stand at ISE 2025: An Interview With Brainstorm’s Miguel Churruca

THIS IS A PROMOTED POST

Behind the Stand ISE Brainstorm

Welcome to this series highlighting some of the manufacturers and brands that will be featured on the show floor at ISE 2025. As we gear up for the event, we wanted to share a preview of what these companies are bringing to the table — from new products to insights about their focus for the show. These conversations offer a closer look at what you can expect and a chance to get to know the people behind the brands before the doors open in Barcelona. This interview is with Brainstorm’s Miguel Churruca, marketing and communications director.

Q: Why is Brainstorm exhibiting at ISE this year?

A: Brainstorm will participate at ISE 2025 in two different spaces, one in partnership with Alfalite, the European LED manufacturer, showcasing affordable virtual production solutions with LED volumes, and also sponsoring the ISE Connected Classroom space, dedicated to advanced and ground-breaking technologies for Education and Presentations. The company is well established in the broadcast and film markets, and we see ISE as a perfect environment to showcase advanced AV technologies, including immersive virtual solutions to a wider range of professionals, such as ProAV, corporate and education companies and institutions. This is a consequence of the democratization of virtual technology and the increasingly blurred boundary between broadcast and AV technologies.

Q: What trends do you think we’ll see on the show floor, and how is your company positioned to capitalize on these opportunities?

A: Virtual production has been an increasingly adopted trend, and it is becoming common for live events and immersive presentation applications, not to mention Education. For companies like Brainstorm, that has been into virtual reality for decades, it is a perfect scenario to showcase the most advanced virtual, immersive and XR technologies, including real-time 3D graphics and related solutions.

InfinitySet Lite has been developed for PTZ camera workflows, including the tools required to create outstanding chroma-based virtual content, while removing the complex set up and calibration of standard tracking installations.

Q: What new products or solutions are you showcasing at ISE, and how do they address current industry challenges?

A: At the Alfalite stand (4R300), Brainstorm will demonstrate InfinitySet and introduce InfinitySet Lite to Europe, after its successful launch in NAB NY in October. InfinitySet Lite is the latest addition to Brainstorm’s acclaimed InfinitySet product line, offering a streamlined interface and toolset while maintaining the same top-tier quality standards that have made InfinitySet a favorite in the broadcast and studio markets for virtual content creation. At the Connected Classroom space, Brainstorm will showcase the latest developments in its Edison Ecosystem, including EdisonGO, a custom-built capture environment that provides video and tracking information from an iPad, and will introduce EdisonAR, a new member of the Ecosystem that allows for creating live, immersive presentations using LED volumes and real stages.

Q: How is your company expanding its global presence besides exhibiting at ISE 2025?

A: As I mentioned before, we see that virtual production technology is now more accessible to a wider range of content creators, and as a company that has been in real-time 3D graphics and virtual sets for years, we find essential to increase our presence in events that transcend the broadcast boundaries, such as ISE, Infocomm or dedicated Education shows such as BETT, and others.

Q: Why should ISE 2025 attendees visit your booth?

A: Attendees will be able to see how virtual production with LED volumes and chroma sets can be accessible not only to large production houses and broadcasters, but also to a wider range of content creators, without compromising on performance or visual quality, by using PTZ cameras and smart technologies that make the most out of the available resources. Brainstorm is also sponsoring the Connected Classroom space, dedicated to advanced and ground-breaking technologies for Education and Presentations, highlighting the possibilities of the Edison Ecosystem for these applications.
